So over 10 years I've had my modem. They are happy to take my money by signing me up for a new contract but no modem. ? What's going on ? I don't get home till after 9 most nights so can't spend hours on phone fixing this. A complete pain. Can anyone help ? So fed up. Already tried to sort this but only received a new contract. Still no Netflix, Disney or WiFi in house. Modem is usless

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@AlisonNewFrench Sky dont use "modems" the units are called Sky hubs and contain both the modem and a full wifi router. It is possible that your current issue is caused by a faulty hub but that is comparatively rare most issues are down to the line or wifi signals in your home.
Currently only the hub on the second line in the picture on this page https://www.sky.com/help/articles/set-up-hub-which-sky-hub-do-you-have is obsolete if you have one of those Sky will replace it with a newer model if you call them or post again and a Superuser will escalate your post to a Sky chat team. All of the other hubs are still. In use and will be replaced like for like if yours is faulty..
If you would like help with your connection issues post your current hub's stats see
