Just returned from holiday and realised my internet isn't working . Whilst I was away city link was working down my road.

openreach have been out a found a problem in the path . And have said they need permission from council to dig up path and put a new cable to my house . Any idea how long it takes to get permission from the council to carry out these works.? If it's going to be a while I'll need to get a dongle to get me by

Usually can take 4 weeks or more
