No internet since Wednesday - from Hastings
Me and my family have been having issues since Wednesday with our internet. We have the power on with a green light and our WiFi light green but internet is not on. We have been using hotspot since and it just isn't right, they should at least put a message on screen saying it's in working process. What is going on sky? Fix this issue please!

Re: No internet since Wednesday - from Hastings
@Combe+Haven Sky may not know that you have an issue, you will have to run the connection test https://www.sky.com/help/servicestatus and if that picks up an issue it may allow you to book an engineer, if that option doesn't show or it doesn't pick up an issue then you will have to call customer service.
There are no Sky staff here on the forum that can assist with this matter.

Re: No internet since Wednesday - from Hastings
We have done all this and it says there's no issues but there clearly is as there's several people complaining from several places in the UK.

Sky is the ISP for something like six million addresses in the UK, so even a 99.99% success rate (which is extremely unlikely) would mean several thousand individual Openreach circuit failures are affecting Sky Broadband customers at any particular moment in time.

Re: No internet since Wednesday - from Hastings
My internet has gone off today as well, after Mutuple resets I checked it online and there is an outage in the area, said to take up to 2 days to get back on due to no one working over the weekend 😩😡

Re: No internet since Wednesday - from Hastings
@Chelle101 Depending on when the fault was reported and how it is corrected, 2 working day's is an estimate that is all, the repair takes as long as it takes!

Two working days is the Openreach target time to fix faults on domestic connections, and doesn't include weekends or Bank Holidays.
For a fault reported to an ISP today the timer starts on Tuesday morning.
