No internet in Norwich
I have no Internet for about 30/40 mins.
Tried doing the troubleshooting on the app using the mobile data and was sent around in circles.
Same with the website as well.
I unplugged the router, gave it a couple of minutes and plugged it back in, and still no internet.
i did try ringing the helpline but no one is answering at the time and they text they sent, took me back into the app to do everything I had already done.

Re: No internet in Norwich
I'm on Norwich too, same issue.
The sky site says this:
Broadband/Talk Outage - Shetland We’re really sorry you’re experiencing a service outage. A specialist repair ship is needed to fix a damaged subsea cable, and it's currently waiting to depart from Calais. Once the ship arrives, repairs will take around four days due to the complexity of the fault. Please note, this timeline may change depending on weather conditions. We’ll keep this page updated as work progresses. Thanks for your patience — we’re doing everything we can to get things back up and running as soon as possible.

Re: No internet in Norwich
Logging into the sky site doesn't actually check anything other than your own router. If you go to their service status page and click "don't check my services I'll stay signed out" it'll take you to a page where you can enter your landline number and it checks if there's issues that effect your area.
My previously reply is what came up after entering my 01603 number. Looks like it's a widespread issue.

Re: No internet in Norwich
Thanks for the replies so far. I did get internet back shortly after my original post, but it has gone again so seems to be an intermittent issue maybe. All the checkers still say everything is good though.

Re: No internet in Norwich
When there are issues between midnight and 7am it's quite possibly going to be essential overnight maintenance taking place which is carried out then to minimise disruption as most customers are asleep. Hopefully it'll be back before 7.
If it's not, use this link to check to see if there are any broadband issues or outages nearby.
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker
This should determine if there's an identified fault, perhaps affecting multiple households. (It doesn't necessarily disclose a problem instantly and it takes a little while to update so perhaps try again an hour later).
If there aren't any then try running the line test here https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start
You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.
Once completed, if it reports back that all is good click on 'broadband' to run an updated test.
If you get amber or red you need to follow the on-screen instructions.
If you're still having problems you may need to contact Sky to report it. The easiest way is to dial 150 free from your Sky Talk landline if it's still working.
This link providers information about the coloured lights on the various hubs https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start
Sky broadband being discussed here is a domestic service and whilst it's fine for those customers working from home to use it, they won't receive additional or quicker support.
