No internet connection and no wifi

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me.... I work from home so need my wifi connection, I seem to be having wifi problems quite often now.... Yesterday my wifi was working but my sky q box said that there was no internet connection. This morning my wifi isn't working and the q box has no internet connection......however testing my broadband connection and wifi on the service checker both say everything is ok which it clearly isn't It's ok today cos I'm not working but I end up spending ages switching the router off, trying to reset the wifi. Which sometimes works and other times I just have to wait. It's getting frustrating now and stressful cos I need it for work I would like to speak to sky but don't know how to get in touch with them, any advice would be great Thanks Jayns

@Jayne76 check the LEDs on the Sky hub ( see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start) if they show the connection is down and the online test run overca mobile conection does not tell you Sky are aware of thr fault give them a call. With the test the intial result is from an earlier routine test you need to click to run it again to get the current position.

If your line requires an engineer to fix it then you will be likely to be off line for a couple of days. That is the disadvantage of using what is sold as a domestic connection for work unfortunately.

Re: No internet connection and no wifi

Thank you for the advice. I'll do that next time it goes down.

Yes definitely  a disadvantage to working from home, I can go to the office when needed so hopefully I can get it sorted. Thank you!
