Re: No internet but speed test says “everything is fine”

Yes I'm sometimes asleep but work nights so I use the internet when I get in from work. And half the time it's doing this! I'm ringing them tommorz because it was never this bad before I had fibre, I didn't even want it!

Re: No internet but speed test says “everything is fine”

I don't have fibre because my area doesn't have it yet... I think it's just sky being crap. Has anyone been able to get their Internet back yet?

The most common cause of loss of connection overnight is due to essential network maintenance by Openreach or Sky. There is nothing customers can do if their line is down. Only major work gets reported so show up in the service checker. Some jobs take several nights so if affected last night dont be too surprised to have a few nights disruption.

Maintenance takes place overnight to reduce disruption as most people are asleep. For anyone still not back up and running they should contact Sky when the lines open and report it.

Re: No internet but speed test says “everything is fine”

If it is maitenance then the least sky could do is send out a curtesy text/email letting people know. Also the test connection should notify customers rather than say everything is fine.
