No internet but all lights are green

Hello,

 

I've had sky broadband for 2 years now and there's been no issues. I recently had something that was tripping the electric, but manage to sort this. However, I noticed the internet dropped out.

 

I have not had any broadband in 48 hours hours since this. I have tried numerous hard resets at the wall, unplugging cables, letting it rest of for extensive periods and still no joy.

 

All four lights on the hub are green but I've no broadband. Whenever I try connecting to the internet via my phone, i am met with 'unable to join network'.

 

I've ran a test via sky and the internet seems to be in working order. I have then spoke with Sky, but I need to wait for over a week for an engineer to come out. Does anybody have suggestions I can try in the meantime to try and solve this issue?

@Acollo18 one suggestion if you haven't donecso already  is to power down the hub for at least 30 minutes as thst should change the connection at Sky's end.

Thanks for the advice. I tried this but had no luck. I left it off overnight too and tried again in the morning, but still no change.

If this all started after power cuts its very likely that your Sky hub has corrupt firmware so you would need a replacement
