No internet, area outage or router issue?

For the past two weeks my internet connection has been poor, constantly dropping almost daily numerous times. Rebooting the router usually worked until today and I've had no connection for 6 hours now. I've tried rebooting, resetting, unplugging/replugging, using Sky help etc.

Right now the Sky app says there's an outage in my area (Lincoln) but I can't find any further information on this, and my neighbour who also has Sky seems to be connected. So is it actually an outage in my area or an issue on my end?

@Jaykrios

Areas on the internet aren't tied to physical location it is where you are connected zone-wise on the internet, and zones sometimes get attacked. This can cause an issue for a single user or much more in the zone.

Recommend you report the issue to Sky by telephone on 150 for complete loss of service.
