No broadband for 3 days

My broadband has been down for 3 days now and I can't do any work from home I have multiple projects around the world and I need my internet back on

Domestic ISPs can never guarantee connectivity: that requires multiple equipment redundancy, including several entirely separate data bearers into the property and duplicate routing hardware plus power-supply backup.

 

The best some (but not Sky) can offer is automatic failover to a cellular data connection.

It says there is problem in our area which started on the 6th July. The message says it will only last a couple days. We are on day 4 now! what can be done? We neeed this resolved ASAP!!!

If Sky are aware of the issue there is nothing more that can be done at the moment. Outages are fixed by Openreach usually, if there is significant damage or issues with the infrastructure it can take days or weeks to resolve. You will receive compensation as per the guide here

ISPs really shouldn't make such claims: that's based on Openreach targets rather than any particular circumstances.
