No broadband, Phone or TV

Can anyone help. Been without internet since about 3am on  Monday.. Phoned Sky and ran through all the tests I had already done. Said they would phone today but didn't. Have had to use massive amounts of mobile data to watch TV and work from home. 

My router has a pulsing green light that grows bigger and then goes smaller. Does anybody know why it is doing this? Is it a problem with the router?

Try running the line test here:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start


You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.


After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.


If this is of no help then you will need to give Sky another call.

As a general principle it's never a good idea to rely on such a callback actually happening.

Just an update if anyone else experiences it. The engineer says it is happening quite a bit recently. Said the information sent to the router is getting stuck. All it took was a phone call to India and they reset the signal so it can get through. Took 30 seconds to fix after he got through to them.

@Julie240 With none off the methods in your posting then you will have to find another way to get through to sky!
