No WiFi until 4th Sept and I think BT have cut my line

A BT engineer came to my neighbours house to mend their line and now I've got no WiFi or Landline

If you've already been told a repair is booked for the 4th of Sept then there isnt much else that can be done so posting here wont really do anything.

You should be entitled to automatic compensation for the outage.

I eventually got Openreach out to mend the line. A very long job. Took 5 hours ! Have cancelled the Sky appt due for tomorrow 

Hope I still get compensation as had to use a lot of 5G data on my phone !

Depends when you reported it to Sky. If it was reported on the same day you posted (Thursday last week) then you may not get any compensation because the terms say two full working days before any compensation days are paid. That would be Friday + Monday as your two full working days then today would have been your first compensation day, however its been fixed now so you probably wont get it.
