Hi
My new Wfi Max doesn't extend to my EV charger. My EV charger is now disabled and I am unable to charge my car. (I previously had a Sky WiFi extender in the loft to reach the EV charger, but the extender doesn't seem to be able to connect to the new WiFi Max router...)
I know there is a guarantee for WiFi across the house, but does this extend to an external EV charger?
please can you help ASAP, as it is urgent that I can charge my car.
Many thanks
Dan

The wording of the Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi 'guarantee' specifically excludes external locations.
What do we mean by ‘every room’?
‘Every room’ under our Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee includes: all main rooms in your home like living rooms, bedrooms, k itchens.
Up to 5 bedrooms or 12 rooms total which includes:
A garage that’s accessed without having to go outside.
A converted loft room – it needs to have a fixed staircase, fully boarded and furnished.
Conservatory.
What it doesn’t include:
Any exterior buildings like garages, sheds, annexes, etc.
An unconverted loft – one that is not furnished.

Re: No WiFi to EV charger
@DanVL no wifi guarantees for devices outside your home unfortunately. However couple of things to try as the setting on the new hub maybe the cause. Firstly go to the WiFi security setting in the Advanced section of the Hub's settings in the My Sky app and change the setting from WPA3-T to WPA2 save the setting and try again to connect the charger. If that doesnt work go back into the settings and choose the Turn off WiFi section and temporarily disable the 5GHz setting. Try to connect the charger. If it connects then turn the 5GHz back on.
If neither of those work it does sound like you need an extender. My own charger can be be set to work without a connection see if yours can also. If so if your car is compatable you can use that to control when it charges. If its a Kia though best of luck as mine just sulks if I try that .😀
