No WiFi & no phone signal at home

Router has lights on but WiFi isn't working.

no mobile phone connection at home so difficult to check things  but did checks from a friends broadband and it said broadband okay and WiFi okay

Have you tried rebooting your broadband hub at the mains, if that doesn't work them I'm not sure what you have tried so if you haven't try this line test:

 

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start


After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.


If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.
