No WIFI no Apps, Sky box thinks all OK, Sky agent says I need to upgrade to fibre

20 years plus a customer and just getting broadband issues recently 

Have had to use landline to get service but fibre now in area .Sky broadband completely unreliable and not getting use of apps I pay extra for  Agent is saying I need to upgrade to fibre .

@Sickofit3 With Fibre being available in the area the agent will be advising that it is the best option for you to goto, why try to fix a fault but it will be your choice for deciding best for you. Should you ever need to re-subscribe in the future you may be left with zero choice and have to upgrade, you should consider doing it now! Sky do offer vip customers a good and very competative deal at present!

 

If you have sky Q and are staying with it do let the sky agent know that fact and stay with the Sky Broadband Hub / booster's etc as they are fully Q and Mini compatible! DO NOT be fooled into going sky Max!

Tv working okay just annoying that needs Internet connection

@Sickofit3 full fibre is far more reliable than the older partial fibre and you get thecspeed to the hub you pay for. At some point you will havecto switch but if your copper line is getting unreliable - the csbles can be decades old and do deterioate - it seems a no brrainer.
