No Ethernet cable included
There's no Ethernet cable included with my Sky router, just a useless telephone cable. I don't even have a landline so no idea why I've been sent this. The setup video I watched on YouTube suggests the Ethernet cable is needed. I don't know if it's possible to set everything up wirelessly instead? Does anyone know?
This is my 1st time with Sky broadband and even the QR code on the packaging that's supposed to take me to the helpful setup guide doesn't work (out of date). So bit of a rubbish start and already envisioning I will end up cancelling. My new service is meant to be activated at midnight tonight but their customer service line doesn't open until 8am. Wayhay.

It is possible to set your devices up wirelessly as the cable is only needed if you have a device that doesn't have wireless capabilities.

An ethernet cable is required between the ONT and the ISP router on an FTTP broadband service.

That particular link cannot be over WiFi: ONTs have no wireless functionality.
For ADSL, FTTC or G.fast broadband, there's no use for an ethernet cable between wall socket and router: that's an RJ11 to RJ11 'telephone' connection.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
