I don't know if SKY are monitoring this forum but if they are .... the broken fibre in the road outside has me as the nearest to the fibre exchange. The entire local community is downstream of me and also without broadband for 13 days now. Think about your profits, SKY, even if you are not bothered about providing a service or properly liaising with Openreach. Your compensation bill is becoming very large. Think on this ....

16 days now without broken fibre broken fibre, no broadband.
SKY still saying the mantra that Openreach are aware and likely fixed in a couple of days.
My lucky neighbours with BT with their unlimited 4G emergency router have been told a different story - Openreach will not be fixing it this year.
Merry ******* Xmas!
Have burned through my hard won, saved for next years extended holiday break 200GB piggy bank data.
Speechless, but you could certainly insert your favoured swear words here at this point ... an entire community cut off for Xmas, mostly retired oldies. All because nobody will come and fix the fibre, broken since 7th December.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreWhilst I appreciate your frustration, especially at this time of year, posting updates on here every couple of days won't get it repaired any quicker. As you've gathered Openreach are responsible for the repairs and at this time of year, and after the recent storms their workload will have increased significantly. Ultimately Openreach pay the daily compensation fee not the ISP.
