No Broadband (Dorset)

I've been without internet since the morning of Saturday 16th March. The online checker simply states that there is an outage in the area but no further details on when it will be fixed.

The automatic compensation form states it must be two days from when you inform Sky. However, if the issue is due to an outage out of my home, will the compensation be automatically applied if this carries on past two working days since the outage started?

Yes you would need to call or contact via social media message, this makes Sky aware that you are part of the outage and starts the 2 working day countdown for your compensation. Once 2 working days have passed you will then be entitled to the full daily rate for an outage until its resolved.

The compensation starts after two working days that you informed Sky of the issue so if it is out for 10 days for example from that point then you will get a payment based on the 10 days.

Re: No Broadband (Dorset)

So what do they mean by 'Inform Sky', they're clearly aware of the outage since its declared as such on their service checker.

Do i have to contact them directly somehow and if service is not restored by two working days after that THEN the compensation starts?
