Same for me, 120 mbps but 20% packet loss all the time, impossible to play anything without lag.

As a past gamer, WiFi always has poor latency/lag and is effected interference from florescent lights and microwave ovens.

A serious gamer should use a ethernet/lan cable.

Thanks for to ur reply mate.  My sons and I  aren't serious gamers, thank Christ. But we do like to game. I've had ftp and a BT router without incident for years. Literally chanted to sky and everything is struggling. I'll have to run an Ethernet round that side of the house. But it should not be necessary.
