New to Sky and will have to change back if cannot resolve - unable to connect to work PPTP VPN

Unable to connect to work PPTP VPN

Have tried custom Shield settings to allow file sharing

Have tried disabling Shield fully - no luck

Have tried downgrading WiFi security from WPA3-T to WPA3 to WPA2 - no luck

Have tried a cabled connection, not over WiFi - no luck

Have tried restarting laptop and router several times

Have tried port forwarding rules, setting Port No. to 1723, protocol to TCP and port range 1-47 - no luck

Work IT support say we need Sky to allow PPTP on our connection

Not been able to contact Sky tech support to resolve

Tried calling Sky and calls drop after being on hold for a while

Need to resolve ASAP - any help greatly apprecaited

Thanks in advance!

@EA6

Current advice for the Max Hub is to enable UPnP: while this doesn't directly affect VPN at all it should cause the circuit to move to 1:1 Map-T.

Hi @TimmyBGood

Thanks for the quick reply.

How do I enable UPnP? Is this on the router via the Sky App? Or on my Windows laptop?
