@Mary6970 Switching from WPA3T to WPA2 does slightly reduce security but unless youbare a target of a state security service or serious criminals the risk is minimal. Hacking of domestic wifi is quite rare most "hacks" are done by tricking people into clicking on a file which installs malware.
Therexare literally millions of Sky hubs running WPA2 with no issue.

Re: ot link wifi to HP laserjet printerfi
@Mary6970 You will need to go into the settings in my Sky app and change it from WPA3 to WPA2 if you are trying to connect this via Wi-Fi and if it only uses the 2.4 GHz range you will have to turn off 5.0 GHz on a temp bases to connect your printer.

Re: ot link wifi to HP laserjet printerfi
@Mary6970 Sky does not use mac address registration so your son's advice is incorrect in this instance. The steps given by @Highlinder are sensible but I have found temporarily linking the printer by USB to a laptop and updating its firmware can help sort the issue. Also consider factory resetting the laserjet as HP printers have a habit of corrupting the memory thst stores log on info, or at least a couple I have had to connect did.

Re: ot link wifi to HP laserjet printerfi
Have managed to get printer working using WPA2 but s there a way to keep this on as we have to keep changing the wifi settings back to WPA3T for high level security and back to WPA2 for printing. Thanks

@Mary6970 Do you have any devices that use the WPA3 protocol?
