New modem drops signal

We renewed our contract to get a new modem ,due to having a very intermittent signal.

Since then everyone complains there's no signal to game and the TV has to be reset every day as it looses connection

@libsmum What new modem did you get when you did the renewal that you requested! Also getting new where you hoping that it would be the cure to an existing or is this a newer fault that you have in addition!

Re: New modem drops signal

We got it about a month ago , some rooms had poor signal.  Its worse now,  every day we have to reset the system to connect to the tv.   They also promised me paramount+ but then couldn't deliver that.

Sky broadband hub

Re: New modem drops signal

@libsmum The modem that you have got to replace your older modem the SR203 Upright Black hub which is the Sky Broadband Hub, is a really good device and does normally function very well, sky have been re-cycling some off those for some reason no doubt to save the planet.

Nothing else happened just the new hub, still connected to an OR Master Phone socket and sitting in the same place where you had the older sky hub when you swapped that out!

Re: New modem drops signal

@libsmum Not sure if you are aware but think that you may be, forum posting is customer helps customers. So in that case do you feel that you are able to get the hub stat's so they can be looked at, with respect to what is going on with your phone line. The link shows and explains what to do, what is required and needed to see what is actually going on with your hub and your phone line!

How to read your Sky Hub statistics

Re: New modem drops signal

It won't all9w me to log in.   I tried my sky log in details and the admin/sky option given.  The screen immediately refreshed with both boxes blank.

So no further
