New house - no router delivered

I've just moved house and transferred my Sky from the old to the new place.

Installation doesn't take place until the 2nd December.

My account is saying my new Router has been delivered but I've only received a cable, do I need to use my old router?

I didn't have Fibre in my old house but my new package is Fibre.

@Brownie1968 if you have been sent a short ethernet cable then you will be expected to bring your current Sky hub to your new address where it will be used to connect to your new presumably full fibre service if you are currently on a partial fibre service. It can be the other way round if so and you currently have a full fibre service at your old address do not take the ONT unit on the wall or its power supply as those will be required by the next occupier.
