Re: New gigafast- consistently slow!?
@MrsESharp You would be advised to call them now as the sample at 80Mb/s is WAY wrong. and should look up close the the 900Mb/s mark! When did you get the Fibre at the 900Mb/s speed from sky?
Run the www.fast.com test and post your result up!

Re: New gigafast- consistently slow!?
So have already called a couple of weekends ago, went through everything and it picked up for like an hour.
Think I'll have to call again as it keeps dropping back down, also upstairs is terrible!

Re: New gigafast- consistently slow!?
@MrsESharp You don't have a spare ethernet cable kicking around the home to try changing it out on the Hub/ONT connection, cable does require to have all the 8 cores and 1 bad will make it look exactly like your sample! This is one of the values i changed on the SR203 hub by default, Auto is DSL/Wan, but DSL is 80Mb/s max, so just incase the hub is not thinking straight it may be worth a try, you need to web connect 192.168.0.1 to get to it and password is on the back off the hub, username is the word admin just as you see it! Picture needs to be cleared before you can see it!
I changed this value from the Auto setting to what you see in the picture!

Would be interesting to know what @MrsESharp was on before Gigafast. Could be to do with what you're coming from rather than what you're going to maybe?

Re: New gigafast- consistently slow!?
@Sharcuk 100% correct, could be from a fttc connection with the max 80/20 split, and OR/Sky have stuffed up the profile setting, that can be checked with regards to what is viewed i the Sky Hub Status screen under the applied modem setting and for a FF500 they are 549 900 and 75 000 minus the space to get through the filter!
That lets you know as those are applied from sky all the way to the hub, dont know the gigafast settings as never had....
