New customer no broadband!!

Going round in circles here. Openreach switched me over to sky yesterday. Slow green flashing light on hub ever since. Sky telling me to wait for Openreach and Openreach telling me to wait for Sky!!

@IanW11 Connect you BT Router back up, if it connect's then you are still on there service!

Tried that. Sadly already disconnected otherwise I'd forget sky and carry on with BT

@IanW11 Have a look on the Brown packaging box that the hub came in, say what the first 2 letters numbers you see are for the serial number and UK or ROI location! Black/White hub, copper fttc or Full Fibre fttp service!

@IanW11 Not sure about the serials for the white sky Max hub, (D2 for UK DE for ROI but that is for the Black Hub), if you have Full Fibre then you will have a small white ONT box connects via a RJ45 cable Ethernet, AND no matter wether white or black and on a FTTP then you have to use the VERY right hand Ethernet port viewed from the back off the hub and it is marked as WAN.

@IanW11 NO it is Port 1 on that ONT from BT that you have and Port 4 on the back off the sky hub.

 

Port 4 light that you have on, was the BT ever plugged in to that? Not the way that unit is normally used!!!!
