New Sony tv bought four weeks ago. Cannot get any catch up channels, i.e. BBC Iplayer, My 5 etc nor

Cannot access catch up channels, nor Netflix.  Screen freezes after trying to access.  The shop we bought tv from says it's definitely a WiFi problem and to contact Sky.
