New Sky Max router not connecting to pod

An engineer has just visited to replace my faulty sky max hub. The new hub is working fine, but now the existing pod extender that I had won't connect, and just has the flashing white light on it.

 

The engineer said that the new hub should actually refresh and revert back to the old hub's SSID/password, and that then the pod will connect. However, this hasn't happened either.

 

Please advise on how to connect the existing pod to the new hub.

You may need to reset it then leave it 24-48hrs for it to update in Sky's systems. Follow the troubleshooting below;

How do I reset it please? The page you linked to and the mysky app keep sending me round in a circle, and the connect manually option doesn't load at all.

I dont have the information to hand. Have you looked around on the pod for a reset button? You could try holding the power button

The pods have no buttons, they just plug straight in and they're supposed to pick up signal from the main hub.

 

Extra frustrating is the fact that Sky's customer service lines are literally closed right now "to deliver essential training".

Yes we were warned about that by our Sky contacts on the forum. The lines should re-open in around an hour or so.
