New Sky Broadband sketchy start
I'm a month in from switching to Sky Broadband from BT and it's not been great. I've bought exactly the same fibre/speed/service as I did with BT but it's constantly dropping out or buffering as it struggles to connect to devices. It affects WiFi more than the wired products (I guess that's obvious). Where the BT product would connect to WiFi on phones and laptops instantly and then remain reliable the SKY takes a while to connect and isn't reliable. I can easily contact anyone to speak about this as tests are all APP based and appear to check out ok. However, I am on a regular basis, getting 2gb data credits on my mobile account from SKY as a result of broadband outage..
One positive of SKY broadband though, is that you can get your Q boxes to provide a wider connection area through you home.
Any help gratefully received or a route to someone at SKY that can take a proper look at this for me. (Not a call centre that I wait 40 mins to talk to and all they want to do is sell me SKY glass!!) Thank you.
