New House but Not Moving In Yet and Need Broadband
Hi all,
Looking to talk to someone about getting broadband at a house I've just bought.,
Short version is we're currently TV & Broadband customers at our current house, and we're doing up the new house before we move in.
I'd like to get broadband at the new house now so we have connectivity at both houses (mobile signal is very poor) and then when we're ready to move in transfer the existing package (inc TV) over to new house.
Appreciate that we'll likely end up having to pay for two lots of broadband for a while
How / who / what do I do or talk to?

Re: New House but Not Moving In Yet and Need Broadband
Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate what's available from any Openreach-based ISP, including Sky.
https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome
It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.
Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.

Re: New House but Not Moving In Yet and Need Broadband
Unless you plan on keeping both houses for at least 18 months you wont be able to do that. As soon as you order broadband in your new place you will enter into an 18 month contract. If you then want to move your existing package into the new house before the 18 month period is up you'll be subject to cancellation fees on the new contract you took out to supply the new house.
Your best option would be a mobile broadband option or an ISP who has 30 day rolling contracts.
