New Broadband just upgraded and laptop not connecting

Just had my sky broadband upgraded. 

Just need to mention that on the day the Broadband was playing up a lot poss because engineer tweaking at exchange etc. Not a problem as I new I would encounter this.

WIth the fibre instal all went okay with the brilliant engineer who set me up.  I did notice that when it was all lit up all the other devices connected quickly the laptop struggled.

For some reason my laptop couldn't find the network. Power off an signed out still no joy. So whent to the router and held down the WPS button on the side until flashing.

Still keep off the laptop at this time until the network did its thing and paired. Rebooted the network and the sky broadband availabiliy now showed. Clicked and now on. Thanks

@Skymike61 Did you get the sky Max hub as part off your package, the WPS reset function factory reset was it applied sometime after you had the hub online, and if you get a chance have a look on the app and see what the sky Max hub is now sitting at with regards to the WPA mode that it will display to you!.
