Neighbouring flat has broadband deals, mine does not
Has anyone else had this before? We moved into our new flat and asked our neighbour which broadband provider they were with, they have Sky. When we tried to get our broadband set up, sky don't serve our flat. We checked as if we were setting up broadband for the neighbouring flat and sky is available. Anyone know why this is?

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.
https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome
It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.
Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.

Thanks,
When I put my full address in, it returns an error message: "We cannot determine broadband availability at this location. This may be a new address to which connectivity is not yet complete."
There was someone living there before we moved in, who presumably had broadband... can't say for sure though.

They wouldn't have been able to order from any Openreach ISP if the address isn't on that database.

Hmmm ok so no openreach in our flat I suppose. How would I go about getting that sorted? Openreach suggest that they would send an engineer to install it once I order with an ISP, but I can't seem to place an order without having it in place already...

Is this a new build or subdivision? Ideally developers are supposed to register addresses with Openreach while their work is going on.
