Negotitiating a new deal without being ripped off.

Do Sky still negotiate Broadband deals, for existing customers, or do they just totaly disregard the 24 year VIP membership? [Removed]

@badgercub the best tactic is to shop around find what competitors charge for the same service you want to buy and ask Sky to match it. If they wont swap but be aware most companies offer lead-in discounts to attract new customers which revert to their standard prices after a period and check their in-contract price increases.policy.

The smart consumer looks after themselves rather than assuming a company in business to make money will do that for them. Companies rely on customer inertia to some extent.

For broadband pricing, yes: cost to an Openreach ISP is largely based on what BT Wholesale charges.
