Same with me it's blocked. I turned restrictions off and also on mobile but won't allowed me to access it at all

A spokesperson later said the website and app were working again, however many people continued to report issues for hours after.

Im getting the same with my phone on wifi or not being able to access the lottery site.

 

also doing a broadband check on the house says in red i have a problem then it goes to wifi check and all green no issues. Theres deff something off on the wifi end if things. Since yesterday my ring chime pro wont connect either.

Hi Chloe, the lottery is now working fine, i still have an issue with the ring setup. I have an chime pro extender that lost connection on the day that update happened. Now it reconnects for seconds then loses the signal. Its like the router has a new fire wall or something. No previous issues at all

Cannot open Lottery app , I have no parental controls on .I have uninstalled and reloaded but still no luck ?

Thank you for telling us about not being able to open the app.

 

Some questions, if you wouldn't mind:

  • Has the app worked before?
  • Are you still having trouble?
  • If so, does switching to mobile data, fix the issue for you?
  • What platform are you using? Android or Apple?

Hi , yes the app has worked for years , no change on mobile data , still not working. I'm on a Samsung S22 ultra which is android.

Are you saying that the problem happens on mobile data as well? Are you on Sky Broadband and Sky Mobile?

 

Have you tried clearing the cache and data? (settings > apps > The National Lottery > Storage > Clear cache and then Clear data). 

 

(I'm using an S24 Ultra and the app has updated without issue for me. I'm on Sky Broadband and Sky Mobile).

I've tried everything including clearing data etc , reinstalling but it won't load. I'm on sky broadband but Tesco mobile.

Ah, as it's impacting more than one network, I'd recommend contacting the app provider, to get further support from them @LesB1
