National lottery saying I’m out of uk

location software recognises Internet Protocol addresses

(P addresses) that are used by UK-based Internet Service Providers (ISPs). If your ISP has not registered your IP address as being situated in the UK or Isle of Man, we must assume that you are located outside this region.

Please contact your ISP and ask them to update the registration

@Theashelton unfortunately this is becoming a more common issue as isps like Sky have to buy small lots of IP addresses as the workd supply has run out. In practice Sky will have registered the address as being in the UK but it can take a while before all of the sites used to check location catch up.

Practically the advice is to power down your hub for an hour which should force a change to an address the lottery's checker allows.

@Theashelton power down simply means turn off the mains power.
