NOW Broadband not linked to NOW account, can't link over phone

Hi all,

 

I've been with NOW Broadband as my broadband provider since July 2022 and have had problems accessing any broadband settings on my account since. Whenever I've tried to follow an email link to account settings, I am met with a 'sorry about that' error.

 

Initially I chalked it down to service outages, but over time realised that my broadband subscription wasn't showing under my account. Although annoying, this has not caused many issues until recently when I tried to update my payment card online. As my broadband is not linked, there is no card payment option to update. I emailed regarding this, but responses were slow and my broadband was deactivated. Thankfully I could update my card details over the phone so my broadband was back online within a few hours, but this was very inconvenient and my account remains unlinked.

 

I've had numerous conversations on the phone with advisors who can seemingly not fix this issue. One suggested to follow the broadband/link-account/ URL and fill in the details, but despite using the correct postcode, last 4 digits, and account number it cannot link my account. This advisor said to leave it a few hours and try again.

 

Once I'd tried that, I was told by the next advisor the only option was to be transferred to NOW powered by Sky to discuss switching providers to them. As all I'm looking for is for my broadband to be linked to my account, I would much rather not do this; if the only option is switching providers I'd move away from Sky entirely based on this experience.

 

My account uses the same email that I recieve ALL communications from NOW/Sky at, so I can't see why they aren't linked.

 

Any help (particularly from Sky employees) would be amazing, thank you!
