Mysky app not true speed for slow broadband
So for weeks now our broadband has been getting slower and slower, and the musky app constantly says we are getting the fastest we can although fast.com shows different. Then there is no broadband and I check via mobile data it still shows full speed. When I try to call it just rings and rings then cuts me off. Is this just me or are others having this issue?

Re: Mysky app not true speed for slow broadband
The test you are running on your phone is over WiFi which can be a lot slower than the line speed that the My Sky app shows. Can you try running a test over ethernet?

Re: Mysky app not true speed for slow broadband
According to the stats you were downloading at 53Mbps
If you are speed testing at that point the highest speed would be the remaining 6Mbps.

Re: Mysky app not true speed for slow broadband
No one was in the house but me and I was not downloading anything, I tried to access something online but it was super slow which is why I did the speed test?
Occasionally speed.com shows I do get 50+ mbs but recently it's closer to 5mbs, although the sky app always says I have 54?

Re: Mysky app not true speed for slow broadband
@Turlo77 you can see for yourself that when you took that screenshot test the WAN download connection was running at 53Mb/s. Many devices will use bandwidth when in standby to download updates etc so it could easily be that.
