My wifi is weak. Only picks up in the room the hub is in

Had broadband installed on 05.07.2024/    The wifi signal in the house is really weak.   Only picks up in the room the hub is in

@MelF1  Where in the room is the router located? Is it hidden or in a low place in the room?
