My wifi is slow on every devices

I mainly use my wifi for my work laptop, own pc, TV and phone, and since the speed is so slow, I ended up not using any wifi on my phone and use my broadband and I can't barely watch any Youtube or Netflix streaming on my TV. Also, it takes more than 30 seconds to load the screen page or just doesn't load. I've tried everything. I've reset my router and removed the cable for a minutes and reconnected and also tried https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/sky-broadband-diagnostic/sky-broadband-diagnostic but no.

So you've run the line test in the My Sky app and it doesnt show anything?

Which Sky hub do you have?

What speed should you be getting?  Did you request 40Mbps . The line looks like it could handle more

P.S. the wan is downloading at just under 17 Mbps and that appears to be on the 24ghz wifi band.

I would love to get upgrade as much as I can for the faster internet speed but I'm using 

 

Sky Broadband Superfast
Includes Sky Pay As You Talk

 

and does not give any further options to upgrade other than [Add WiFi Max for our most advanced WiFi] and I know this doesn't make any difference of the current internet speed

Yeah I would check whats currently being used on your network as something is using data at around 17mbps. This may be all that your 2.4ghz band can push out because of congestion which will make other devices feel very slow.

I am trying to work out why noise margin is 20db the line attenuation is good but only getting 40Mbps

Perhaps social tariff or legacy 40mbps package that hasn't been renewed?

As i thought your line is capable of 80Mbps so i'm wondering why you are only getting 40Mbps.  Is that the speed you requested

2.4ghz is just a WiFi frequency & there is nothing to change. We are essentially saying to check over all your devices currently connected via WiFI and see if anything is downloading/streaming in the background as there seems to be a usage on your router which could account for the slow speeds.

Nope - I've moved into the new flat last year March and had like 3 different openreach guy visited since they didn't struggled to set it up and I've asked Sky for the fastest internet conenction and that's what I got 😞 Honestly the internet speed is unbearable - it's faster to use my mobile hotspot to use it...
