My wifi is rubbish

WiFi constantly disconnects, speeds say are 9mps but can't open a web page or load tv. So inconsistent. Often have to restart the router to make anything happen. Living room is further away from the master socket, tried other sockets but don't work. Don't know what I'm paying for at this point.

If there's a pre-filtered master socket at the address then no other socket carries a data signal.

Yeah got that, only works in master socket as mentioned. But signal is so poor doesnt reach the main room properly. Its useless, and so difficult to engage with Sky customer service. I need something to improve the signal.
