My sky max WiFi won’t reach the other side of the room

Any ideas. My new sky max WiFi box won't even reach the other side of the room !!!! It's really annoying my smart plus attached to Alexa won't turn the light on she says no WiFi signal is being received. Now she is approximately 18ft away from the plug and 15inches away from sky max box  it keeps going in and out of signal and I have to keep setting them up.

@Tysonvolvo

With a white Max Hub you may need to reduce the wireless security level from WPA3 to WPA2-PSK using the Hub settings in the My Sky app.

You can use the same settings to temporarily disable the 5Ghz WiFi band: remember to re-enable it afterwards if you do this.
