My sky braodband blocking Irish services

Last week my sky broadband started to block Irish services (example Irish radio). It was around the same time as the IPT platform upgrade but the might be unrelated. 

While at a superficial my IP address shows me in Ireland (correctly), trying to log on to Irish radio on a smart speaker is blocked  (as it says I'm in the wrong country) and the smart speaker is now adding Colorado to my Irish address. 

I have tried on many different devices while on my broadband and it is blocked on them all (so I'm not mental) and if I go outside  on my mobile data everything works. And I have tried many different stations (so the station is not broken.

 

my question is  1) how do I get it fixed and 2) how do I convince sky staff it's broken (as the two I have dealt with so far have dismissed me.

@HostMonkey we had a rash if similar reports a week or so back so I have tagged a Sky contact who got those sorted. I will let you know if I hear back or Sky may reply to this thred.

 

Different services use different methods of determine your location for geofencing and it takes time when a IP4 address moves country.

Hi @HostMonkey Sky have asked that you restart your hub by removing tge power for a few seconds. They are aware of an issue which they cleared this morning.

I have tried restating the hub but unfortunately it has not worked.

Can you reset your hub and go through the setting back up of your home speaker, to see if it's successful?
