My sisters house has no WiFi
Hi all,
My sister has just moved house into a 2 bed that's never had WiFi.
I was just wondering how a fibre cable would be installed to a house that has never had WiFi? does it come from the nearest telegraph pole in the area or from an underground cable !? and if sky do this service is it free if subscribed to their products etc?
as an existing Sky customer myself my house already has a line installed. So as to not having WiFi installed I'm stumped as to what to tell her.
any help would be much appreciated!!

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.
https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome
It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.
Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.

Openreach covers the first £1800 of installation cost, which is typically more enough for the average property.
