I got a new TV for Christmas which connected to my previous WiFi no worries. I just changed to sky broadband this week and it will not connect.
I have tried everything I can find online. Samsung (my tv) says it is to do with the Internet provider.
Anyone got any ideas? I've tried absolutely everything. Turned on and off again. Just factory reset on the tv etc. It can find the network but can't connect to the WiFi.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Jos25 Samsung TVs have firmware that means they dont connect to the WiFi signal from Sky's white hubs fue it using the newer WPA3 standard. If you have one if these hubs go into the My. Sky app and find the hubs settings under product options click on Advanced settings the WiFi scurity and changecthe setting from the defult WPA3-T to WPA2 and you should be ablecto connect your TV.
However dont be too surprised your iPhone if you have one starts moaning about weak WiFi security which isnt really a real problem and can be ignored but is just one of those irritations of modern life.😀
