That shouldn't be necessary. Also risks dropping your internet connection which may take time to reconnect due to the BT issues. All my WiFi devices (20+) reconnect automatically. Might be quicker to logon to the hub and turn off and on the WiFi rather than a full reboot.

Hello, this is very interesting. I have been with Sky for years and was persuaded to go full fibre a few months ago. Since then I have experienced a number issues with the system going down often around 3-4pm. Numerous calls to tech support resulted in a number of ludicrous possibilities ending with the promise that I would be "specially" monitored for 3 days and contacted with a solution. Needless to say nothing happened so I rang them again (the system went down when I was actually speaking to them). They denied having any experience of this problem with other Customers but eventually admitted that they had no idea what the problem is and agreed that I could cancel my contract 4 months in. I have now cancelled my contract but discovered that the issue is the same for a number of users here in Chesterfield using EE, Sky and Plusnet. As ISPs appear to be hiding this from their users I think the recourse is an email to Alternative Dispute Resolution Services (Ofcom don't deal with this) to see what they make of it.

Not true unfortunately. I have EE 150 full fibre and it's been completely off since the 17th October. EE also saying it's a fault at source that Openreach are trying to fix.

It does appear to be country wide as Kent have issues. I suspect BT rolled out an update that didn't go as well as hoped (Not tested enough). Could with rolling it back until it can be tested fully.

At least mine reconnected last night. Still want it to be stable so I don't get warning messages from devices beig of line.

Yesterday was my first weekday since 9th October without an outage, maybe they are finally resolving the issue.

Yep up for over 34 hours. Last drop was Friday night but automatically reconnected.

Sky informed me that Internet is great no problems and wonderful speeds I am getting mmmmmmmm when it's working 😀
