I'm also in Chesterfield and have had this recurring problem several times for the past 3 weeks

What would be nice is if the SKY test my connection didn't lie. It says my connection is fine but as I cannot get to the outside world then it obviously isn't. There is a BT issue with the DSL connection and sometimes simply turning the DSL routre (Firbe) box off and on will make a better connection but today there appears to be a DNS service issue as well. Yet sky's service check still says everything is fine. Only give away is it reports no WiFi connect devices, but it should say a lot (Automated House).
BT users are being told there is a fault that will be fixed in 2 days, except that was last week when this all started. All I want is SKy to say there is an issue and provide a realistic fix time.

I'm on full fibre, installed about 5 weeks ago when it first became available to my house. The first 2 weeks on full fibre were fine, then I had no internet for most of the next week due to the fibre slice failing, this was fixed on the 7th October.
Since the 9th October I've had at least one outage on every weekday with the outage varying between 1 minute and 1 hour. The ONT PON light remains green through the outage so the phiscal capability to send and receive light down the cable remains. I've never had an outage occur at the weekend.

Live in Chesterfield brimington full fiber 300mb and power light is on and wifi is on, bit both phone and Internet is amber and the ont box is fully green, 19:19 on 18th oct

Same. S40. Been on and off all afternoon but definitely down since about 7.15pm. Only joined about a month ago and always seemed to have had issues.

BT have just told sky there is a fault in chesterfield. That doesn't help get it back but at least they acknowledge the problem. Sky are going to lose a lot of people it they cannot get BT to provide a decent service. EE (part of BT) cellular network isn't having the same issues as fibre locally and it canbd cheaper.
What is annoying is the stupid service checker thinks everything is fine, even when I unplug the hub from the fibre box.
The line issues start by not getting a DSL connection and then the servers cannot provide an IP address to the hub so no internet.

Chesterfield S40 been down on and off for over a week, now down completely 18th Oct from 20.05pm. Does anyone know if Sky compensates or supplies mobile data hub?

Had to turn the hub off and on again once broadband came back on, to get WiFi link to my devices.
