My internet at my property is shocking

My internet connecis very poor in my home to the point i have to turn off my wifi connection on my phone and using over my allowance on my dat. My playstation wont connect to online as "cant connect to the internet as the sognal might be too weak" the alwxa lightbulbs in my bedroom dont work either as they cant connect. How can i resolve this? And if it cant resolve how can i avoid paying a fine for leaving?

@Bryannee you ned to establish if the issue is the speed to your hub which Sky fully guarantee or wifi speeds in your home which are not covered by the same guarantee.

First step is to run the service checker in the My Sky app which willshow the last speed check on the connection to the hub. If click on the broadband link itvwill show the recent spedd history and the guaranteed speed for your line. Id spedds are low the app should offer further help.

If however tgat is as it should be the ossue is the wifi signal levels in your home. You can help these by making sure the hub is out in the open on a surface do thecsignal is not blocked by furniture etc. After that the signal levels are determined by the layout and type of construction of your home which are not of course things Sky can control. In many homes you need multiole wifi sources to get usable wifi signal in every room. Sky sell an add on called WiFi Max which can provide up to 3 wify extenders see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or you can buy and use your own wifi system if you prefer.
