Although my broadband check says everything is OK my router has no light to show we have Internet

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Rachel12p the online checker cannot pick up the loss of connection immeadiatly but should tell you if Sky arexaware of an issue affecting your line. If it doesnt call Sky tonreport the issue so they can get it checked out.
