Got a message from Royal Mail and SKY that my router is coming on Friday. 2 days of having to drive into an office not convenient to where I live and pay for childcare. Seriously inconvenienced. I tried to call again today and couldn't get past the BOT. I don't know how I fluked talking to an actual person yesterday. Also what is the point of this 'sky community' only to reassure you are not the only one being shafted by SKY. Put some real support on here. People who actually work for SKY (Removed). This is the worst customer service of any company I've ever had to deal with. Basically we are being fobbed off to get support from other customers. I will be complaining and looking for a refund. Now the problem is how to lodge a complaint........

My Sky broadband is due to be delivered today but have had no information about my sky hub being delivered, i work from home so this needs fixed !!

Hi, I am still awaiting my sky broandband hub, I ordered it last Wednesday and my go live date is today and it still says awaiting despatch... it is very frustrating as I got a sky glass tv also and can not use that without the hub

Wow, looks like I'm not alone... g.fast Activation tomorrow (13th) and NO MODEM.

 

'Out for delivery' 2 days ago. Why sent it so late? My Dad on Voda was tripping over his new modem for about 2 weeks.

 

Will SKY be able to give me details to use my existing WAN connected fritzbox straight away? (it's the model that has been confirmed as fine on SKY g.fast by an actual sky employee so no tech issues there).

My broadband was activated on 11th September but I haven't been able to use it as they still haven't sent a router. There is no record of one being sent and nothing showing up on "my products". I have contacted help desk by phone and email and am told it's a system problem and the issue has been escalated. The last lady I spoke to was very pleasant and she told me the escalation had been rejected. Why?

I just feel like cancelling but feel I should wait a little longer as I can't go back to Virgin so soon after leaving them. What is so difficult about dispatching a router?
