Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Stuartfitzgeral if you log into the My Sky app and go to the connection test and click to run it will give the current speed your hub is connecting at and the history for the last couple of weeks. If the current speed is lower than the guarantee it normally will give you an option to book an engineer butas this help page explains https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-broadband-speed-guarantee if the history shows that speeds were below tge gurarantee for 3 days to contact Sky to activate the guarantee.
One issue that causes confusion is that your hub can be connecting at a speed but speeds measured on devices are slower. This is because speed tests measure the slowest part of the link which is often the Wifi speeds in your home but there are other factors as well like multiple users slowing down the system and not allowing for networking overheads.
Hope thst helps
