Hello, I am a new sky customer and my broadband isn't reaching my whole house

@Shannon103  Which broadband package did you take with Sky as some come with a booster or pod.

@Shannon103 pretty common issue especially as we all have devices thst need faster wifi. A single ISP free router often does not give whole home coverage.

 

Sky offer two extra bundles to help the older Broadband Boost which promises a booster if you cannot get a pretty useless 3Mb/s in every room for £5 per month. The second more useful bundle is https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max which gives youns faster hub and up to 3 pod extenders  but at £7.50 a month for a minimum of 18 months is pricy but does get you a vidit from an engineer if you need it..

 

Personally I spentv£100 on a three unit TP-Link Deco M4 set up which gives me wifi speeds of well over 100Mb/s in every room of my 3 level home running in Access Point mode behind my Sky hub. There are many other third party solutions and as each home is different as will be your needs it shows  a modest spend can be a good investment especially if you want to stream video as I do.
