My broadband/ wifi signal is rubbish ,we live in a one bedroom flat and we have had to buy a wifi extender to get a good connection.

Where is your router located? Is it in an open area and off the floor?

Yes it's on a sideboard, in our front room. We only have a living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.
